Louis Albea Jr., 52 of 506 Sager, died at 3:45 a.m. Friday (Sept. 18, 1970) at St. Elizabeth Hospital where he had been a patient five days. A native of Williamsport, Ind., he was born Oct. 7, 1917, the son of Louis and Hazel Badewitz Albea. His family moved to the Bismarck area when he was a child and he attended rural schools. He was graduated from Bismarck High School in 1935. Following high school, Mr. Albea farmed in the Bismarck area and later entered the U. S. Air Force, serving in World War II. Following military service, Mr. Albea went to work at the Danville Electric Co. plant. he was associated with the firm for 23 years, having retired in March, 1970. He was married May 28, 1959 in Danville to Helen Ann Spicer, and she survives. Other survivors include his mother of Danville, and two sisters, Mrs. Leatha Ingram, Alvin Rout 1, and Mrs. Ruby Moss, Mercede, CA. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother. Mr. Albea was a member of the Walnut Corner Christian Church and Danville Elks Lodge. His hobbies were golf and bowling. The body is af Pape Memorial Home where visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m., Saturday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Casper J. Allen will officiate with burial in Walnut Corner Cemetery.
